HD73211: AUTOMATIC EXTRAPOLATION FOR NURBS SURFACES

Error description

• PROBLEM: Automatic Extrapolation for Nurbs
  surfaces
  .
  SCENARIO:
  .
  User is interested in manipulating the geometry
  (Extrapolating a nurbs surface as it happens in
  the case of the thick surface or in case of the
  extrapolate in GSD workbench)
  CATNurbsSurface::Extrapol.
  User does not want to operate on the topology or
  at the feature level.
  The method CATNurbsSurface::Extrapol would be
  appropriate to do this.

  ACTUAL RESULT:
  There is no way for user to know how to use
  Extrapolate method. (Its a public method)
  .
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  There are following problems for this which we
  would like to get corrected:
  1. The documentation to use this method should be
  provided so that user can use it.
  2. A new public operator which can do the following
  things:
  a. compute extrapolation data and
  b. update current Nurbs surface with
  these data
  .
