• FTA/ CHAMFER DIMENSION NOT CREATED ON
  CURVED SURFACE.

  Scenario :
  1. Launch CATIA
  2. Open the CATPart.
  3. Change workbench to Functional Tolerancing and
  Annotation.
  4. Select Generative Dimension from Annotations
  tool bar.
  5. Select the cyan colored face of model data.
  6. Select "Select All" button of "Generate 3D
  Tolerancing dimensions" dialog box and
  select "Apply" button.
  .
  Results Obtained:
  Message "Not possible" is displayed in Dimension
  Name
  column and creation of dimension fails.
  .
  Expected Result :
  It should be possible to create chamfer dimension
  on curved surface.

  Development Request Justification:
  The chamfer dimension creation is not possible
  because the chamfer surface is complex.
  FTA internally uses drafting services for the
  creation of the chamfer dimension.
  The chamfer dimension creation command is also
  available in Drafting.

  types of cylindrical shapes: cylinder/cone/cylinder,
