Error description

  • ENOVClashUpdate -compute stops working (no

    Scenario:
    1. Open the given data in CATIA V5.
    2. Save this data in ENOVIA V5.
    3. Close the data in CATIA V5.
    4. In ENOVIA V5, Refresh the database.
    5. Open PRC in product editor & Send PRC to

    6. Create generic component as GCO1 under PRC
    & save it.[Refer GCO.avi]
    7. In Product editor window, refresh the database &
copy all the WPs & link it to GCO1.[Refer GCO.avi]
    8. Launch "ENOVClashUpdate -compute -prc <PRC

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON ENOVIA
VERSION 5 RELEASE 19 GA LEVEL.
NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
    ON V5R18SP05
    Incident Diagnosis
During display of an E&S Connector, invoking
CATSupport constructor in a UNIX Batch
environment leads to a call to XOpenDisplay that
    results in an infinite pause.
    Correction Explanation
Remove call to CATSupport constructor - no longer
    needed.
    .
