  • Enovia Browser is not working after installing java

    Scenario:
    .
    Browser editor in enovia is not working properly. It
    is not possible to open some links on the internet
    page.
    .
    NOTE: Everything was working OK on R16SP3 with
    Java 1.3.1 level, but it is NOT working anymore on
    both R16SP3 and R17SP6 with Java 1.5.0 level.
    This problem is reproducible only with specific
    internet file types with extension .aspx or .asp. For
    example,
    .
    http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/faq.aspx
    .
    http://www.w3schools.com/asp/asp_intro.asp
    .
    There could be some more internet file types that
    do not work.
    .
    Everything works OK with simple .html pages.
    .
    All the pages work OK in normal Internet Explorer
    window outside Enovia.
    .
    1. Login to Enovia
    .
    2. Go to Enovia Portal Settings and set Home URL
    as "http://www.microsoft.com"
    .
    3. Click on Home icon at the top left corner to open
    Broswer window, so that it will open the Microsoft
    home page.
    .
    4. Click on any link on the web page.
    .
    BUG: The next page is not opened. Some links
    work, but then you can not go back to previous
    page by clicking the left arrow (Back) button at the
    top of browser window. Also you can not go
    forward by clicking right arrow button at the top of
    browser window.
