• Error 438 occurs by inserting Part List into
  CATDrawing
  Env : CATIA V5R17 SP06 / SMARTEAM V5R17
  SP06
  Windows XP SP02, 2003 Server
  Prob: Error 438 occurs by inserting Part List into
  CATDrawing.
  Work Bench: SDE for CATIA / CATIA
  Integration.
  Scenario:(Please see attached ppt file)
  1. Start CATIA V5R17 SP06, Open CATProduct,
  CATDrawing.
  2. Click "BOM" Icon. ( It displays beforehand )
  >> Part List window appears.
  3. Click "Select a View in drawing loaded in your
  CATIA ..." Button,
  Select "Sheet.1".
  4. Click "Export the BOM in a new Excel File"
  Button.
  5. Excel Sheet is created.
  6. Click "Insert the part list in the selected View"
  Button.
  .
  KO !! Runtime Error 438 occurs.
  7. Click "Debug" Button.   >> Visual Basic Window
  appears.

  This problem is reproduded on CATIA
  V5R18SP01+SmarTeam V5R18SP01+Windows XP
  SP02 yet.
  This problem has been caused because there is
  not ".Visible" in BOM_Handling macro.
  Hence, CATIA version is not related.
