Error description

  • When saving a Solid Edge file that has a
    weldment. Attributes not passed on.
Use attached files and attached customer computer
    on vmware.
    To reproduce:
    1. Open up a Solid Edge assembly ( .pwd file) that
    has the weldment file
    2. Do smarteam save on the assembly.
    3. The Top Assembly Solid Edge attributes (*.pwd)
are saved from Solid Edge into ST and also for all
    other files in the
structure, except of one file in the structure as
2006332_a.par, which does not retain the Solid
    Edge attributes in Smarteam
and even in SE File Properties the attribute
Document Number mapped to Part Number is
    DELETED.
    Description from customer (workaround):
    ---
If you open up the Top level assembly (.pwd file) in
Solid Edge, the expand all branches and find the
    weldment file.
Open up the weldment file (part 2006332_A)
Preform a Smarteam Save on the file.
All Solid Edge attributes (i.e. Part Number) are
loaded and saved with within Smarteam.
Now go to the Top Level Assembly (pwd file)
    Preform a smarteam save.
All Attributes for all files are loaded and saved.
    .
