Problem conclusion
THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN CATIA Incident Diagnosis THE STANDARD OF LINE THICKNESS IS INHERITED BY THE STANDARD TEXT THICKNESS Restriction Explanation Only one standard can be used in a viewer (this is the key restriction with CATIA visualization infrastructure). The created text uses the drafting standard. This standard is copied in the document, and replace the thickness parameter defined in options (linked to CATSettings). This is the reason why the drafting standard is applied to all feature, such as a 3D line. By-Pass As a by-pass, we recommend to tune your standard, (or your settings), so that to keep the same thickness definition as your settings (or standard). Documentation reference CATIA Foundations Application Settings .
