Error description

  • Scenario:
    0) Run CATIA V5R17SP6 HotFix 11
    1) File / Open PRODUCT3.CATProduct
    2) Note the Coincidence.1 constraint between tthe
       CATIA V4 model and the CATIA V5 CATPart
    3) File / Desk
    4) Select PRODUCT3.CATProduct
       and click the CATDUAV5 contextual menu
    5) Activate the Clean option and click Run
    -> No errors are detected
    6) Clean PRODUCT1CATProduct and
       PART2.CATPart
    -> No errrs are detected
    7) Tools / Utility / CATDUAV5 / Clean
    8) Use the Select pointed documents option
    9) Select PRODUCT3.CATProduct
    -> PRODUCT1 and PART2.CATPart are selected
       automatically
    10) Run
    -> One ASD_7 error is detected for
       PRODUCT3.CATProduct
    .
    Expected Result:
    The File / Desk / CATDUAV5 and
    Tools / Utility / CATDUAV5
    results should be the same
    .

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED AT:
    CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 19 GA LEVEL.
    ALSO FIXED AT THE FOLLOWING LEVELS:
    V5R17SP08 AND V5R18SP03.
