Error description

  • SYNCHRONIZE TO ANY REVISION DOES NOT
WORK ON AN ASSEMBLY DRAWING WHICH
    POINTS TO A PVR CATPRODUCT
    .
    SCENARIO:
    1) In order to activate PVR and PVS functionality
    the following environment
variables are set in the Environment txt-file:
    ?VPMNav_CaptureContext=1?
    ?VPMV5_V5R17_PLUS=1?
    A] Preparation:
    .
    1) From Scratch build a simple assembly.
No need to use a specific geometry in order to
    play the scenario.
    2) On the first assembly level underneath the PRC
    create a PVR.
    3) Based on the PVR create an assembly drawing.
B] Modify one of the detailed parts.
    .
    4) Close all open windows except the VPM-
    Navigator window.
    5) In VPM-Nav select the CATPart document of one
    of the two detailed
parts and load it into CATIA 'out-of-context' into
    a single document
    window
    6) In CATIA modify the part.
    7) Save back the Part to ENOVIA (without creating
    new part version or
    document revision).
    8) Close the CATIA window.
    .
    C] Synchronize the PVR.
    .
    9) Open the PVR into CATIA.
    10) Synchronize the PVR to the exploded structure
    of the PRC
    11) Save the PVR back to ENOVIA (even if it tells,
that it is up to date).
by creating a new revision of the PVR.
    .
    D] Update the assembly drawing
    .
    12) Close all open CATIA windows except the VPM-
    Navigator.
    13) Open an impacted by Graph on the assembly
    drawing.
=>it shows that a new revision of the PVR is
    available
    14) Open the Drawing into CATIA.
    15) Open the 'Edit / Links' Panel
    16) Switch to the pointed documents
    17) Select the button 'Replace with any revision' in
    order to synchronize
the drawing to the new revision of the PVR.
=>The All revisions window is displayed
    18) select the new revision of the PVR.
    19) Confirm with 'ok'.
