Error description

• CFO's - Wrong configuration is opened in
  SolidWorks.
  Scenario:
  1. Create an assembly with 2 configurations.
  2. Save the assembly to SmarTeam and check it
  in.
  3. Then open each object one at a time and see if
  the correct configuration is active in SolidWorks.
  ==> KO: For me the configuration that was active
  when the file was saved is opened.
  Expected: The Configuratuion of the Object should
  be active at open.

Problem conclusion

• THIS MODIFICATION IS INCLUDED IN THE
  DOCUMENTATION DELIVERED WITH SMARTEAM
  VERSION 5 RELEASE 19 GA LEVEL.
  In order to open a correct configuration, SWI
  needs to receive global data:
  Run Smarteam Editor. Go to Tools -> Applications
  Setup -> choose "SolidWorks Part" -> click Tools -
  > click Modify -> Advanced Setup tab ->
  check "Place current object in Global Data". This is
  essential to support open of specific configuration
  through SMARTEAM Editor.
  It is documented at SMARTEAM.CHM under topic:
  Defining Advanced Parameters \ Place current
  object in the Global Data area.
