Error description

  • Process :
    0) Start CATIA V5
    1) Open the provided CATProduct file
    Workbench : "Assembly Design".
    2) Select "View" > "Toolbars" > "Graphic
    Properties" by menu bar.
    =>"Graphic Properties" toolbars is displayed.
    3) Select the blue face on the geometry area.
    4) Click "Graphic Properties Wizard" icon.
    =>"Graphic Properties Wizard" dialog box is
    displayed.
    (Please confirm that the blue color was applied to
    the "Face".)
    5) Click "Close".
    6) Click the blue face on the geometry area by
    MB3.
    7) Select "Center graph" by context menu.
    =>"Surface.1(..!Part1!Extrude.1)" is displayed on
    the tree.
    Please confirm that the geometry is the external
    reference element.
    8) Double-click "Part2".
    =>Workbench is changed to "Part Design" or GSD
    9) Click "Surface.1(..!Part1!Extrude.1)" on the tree
    by MB3.
    10) Select "Surface.1 object" > "Isolate" by context
    menu.
    <=>"External References" is changed to "Isolated
    External References".
    11) Expand "Isolated External References" on the
    tree.
    =>"Surface.1" of datum is displayed.
    12) Select the blue face on the geometry area.
    13) Select "Automatic" on the "Graphic Properties"
    toolbars.
    =>The blue face is not changed to the default
    colors. This is problem.
    Result :
    The color reset is not performed at the isolated
    external reference element. This is problem.

    Result to expect :
    The color reset should be performed at the isolated
    external reference element.
    .
    Remark :
    The original feature face is the blue color. So, this
    model was created by the behavior of the color
    transfer from R17. "Automatic" command should be
    performed without the step of "Isolate" if the color
    reset does not relate to the link.
