    9. Switch to "Knowledware Expert" workbench and
    press "Expert Check" icon.
    10. Choose language "KWE Advanced Language"
    11. Create the following rule:
    Bns:BundleSegment
    let Extremity1(BundleSegmentExtremity)
    let Extremity2(BundleSegmentExtremity)
    Bns.Elec_BundleSegmentExtremities
    (Extremity1,Extremity2)
    if (Extremity1.IsGeoAndElecConnectionSame ==
    FALSE) ThisCheck.AddTupleFailed(Bns,Extremity1)
    if (Extremity2.IsGeoAndElecConnectionSame ==
    FALSE) ThisCheck.AddTupleFailed(Bns,Extremity2)
    12. Press "Solve". Notice that NO errors are found.
    At this point, we have checked the harness using

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
    5 RELEASE 19 GA level.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
    ON V5R17SP08 AND V5R18SP03.
    Incident Diagnosis
    Electrical Software Error inside the flatten
    command. Data becomes corrupted.
    Correction Explanation
    This problem has been fixed.
    For the correction of this problem to be taken into
    account, you have to run the "Knowledge Expert"
    rule :
    - After running the Knowledge Rule, a certain BNS
    is detected having faulty distant Connection.
    Highlight that BNS using Highlight Failed
    Components (by Right Click on the Rule)
    The Highlighted BNSs? Left extremity has a faulty
    Distant Elec Cnx.
    - Please UNLINK this BNS Extremity in EHA WB,
    using 'Unlink' icon
    - Followed by LINK ing it with the immediate
    adjacent BNS.
    - Re-run the Knowledge Rule to ensure that this
    time there are no faulty Connections detected.
    - Proceed further with the scenario steps : the
    Flatten Error is no more reproducible.
    Answer and By-Pass
    This problem has been corrected on V5R17 SP8,
    V5R18 SP3 and V5R19ga.
