  • Send to CATIA V5 for specific CATPart after check
    in failed  with error
    .
    Scenario:
    .
    In VPM Product Editor:
    .
    1. Create a PRC
    2. Click MB3 on the PRC - Insert - Instances
    3. Input Part Number & Instance ID, Part Type
    changed to Detail, and click OK
    4. Click MB3 on created Part Instance -
    Lock/Unlock
    5. Select "Lock this Usage and its Reference" and
    click OK
    6. Start CATIA V5 and Connect to LCA
    7. On LCA, click MB3 on the Part Instance - Send
    To CATIA V5
    .
    In Catia:
    .
    8. Save into LCA by clicking Save data in ENOVIA
    LCA Server icon
    .
    In VPM Product Editor:
    .
    9. Click MB3 on the saved document Send to
    Content Management
    10. On Content Management editor, click MB3 on
    the document :Check Out
    11. Select Browse, select the file path, and click OK
    12. On the Content Management editor, click MB3
    on the document Check In, select path of local
    folder for saving to local, and click OK
    14. On Product Editor, Click MB3 on the Part
    Instance and Send to CATIA V5
    Result:
    Error message:
    Cannot retrieve Partxxxx form the Vault. Contact
    your local administrator.

    ENOVIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 17.
    THIS PROBLEM IS NOT REPRODUCIBLE ON :
    ENOVIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 19 GA level AND ON
    V5R18SP02 AND ON V5R17SP07.
    .
    Issue has been reproduced only because of
    missing catalogs that are required for load part
    from enovia in catia such as *.fct files.
    For the part to be loaded OK, all fct files that are
    needed must be available (for customer specific
    features). Otherwise this can lead to unpredictable
    results.
