APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• PROBLEM:
  Run the Clean Command of CATDUA for the Part
  which has a imported feature (FeatureA) which link
  was broken.
  After that, get the imported feature of the CCP
  feature (it is a copy with link fiature of the
  FeatureA) which link was broaken.(
  CATIxPDMPartItem::GetImportedItems()) Then the
  method display a message.
  .
  SCENARIO:
  1. Open Sample data with our sampleWS.
  2. Activate Part2.
  3. Start ﾮ TESTCmdﾯ command, and  push OK
  button.
  4. The method
  CATIxPDMPartItem::GetImportedItems() was run
  for the     Part2 and it was normal   termination.
  5. Start Clean command of CATDUA for Part.1.
  (Part.1 was imported     feature of Part2)
  6. Do the step No2 , No3 again.
  .
  RESULT:
  In the method
  CATIxPDMPartItem::GetImportedItems() the
  message is   displayed as below:
  .
  Part1.CATPart is already open.
  Reopening will cause any changes you made to be
  discarded.
  Do you want to reopen it?

Local fix

Problem summary

• CATIxPDMPartItem::GetImportedItems() display Message
  PROBLEM:

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 19 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R18SP02 V5R17SP07.
  .
  Incident Diagnosis:
  in PX1 code, use of FileMenu Open service leads to
  display a warning window !
  This is due to the fact , that the document to be
  open is already in session and is dirty.
  .
  Correction Explanation:
  Before the call of open service, we check if the
  document is present in session.
  .
