• PROD_STRU : COPY PATE : CONFLICT NOT
  DETECTED WHEN TWO COMPONENTS WITH SAME
  PART NUMBER AND FILE NAME ARE BE PASTED
  INTO AN ASSEMBLY.
  .
  SCENARIO:
  1. Start CATIA Part Design WB
  2. Create a Cylinder, and save the CATPart.
  3. Close the CATPart
  4. Again in Part design Create a cube, see that the
  Part Number is same as in step 2 and also save
  this CATPart with same filename as in step2 in a
  different location.
  5. Create a New Assembly
  6. Open both the CATParts in CATIA
  7. Copy the first Part and paste it in the
  CATProduct (it gets inserted)
  8. Copy the second Part and paste it in the
  CATProduct (it gets inserted)
  .
  OBSERVATION:
  We see that even the Part number and the File
  name are the same, we do not get a message.
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  We should get a message regarding name conflict.

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 19 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R18SP03.
