Error description

  • WSDL:Service node missing from WSDL files
    Scenario:
    WSDL files under install_dir/aix_a/resources/wsdl/*
does not have the "Service" clause. This inhibits
the WSDL2Java emitter from being able to create
    *Locator.java and *Cpp.java files.
Thus the generated clients are not ready for use
and have to be manually manipulated. There is no
mention in the documentation that the client
generation process needs to be manually updated
    in order to use them.
    .
Set tha various variable and then execute the
WSDL2Java exe as specified in the CAA
    documentation following files are generated
    .
    Actual Results:
    .
    StatusArrayType.java
    CATServiceExceptionType.java
    IdentifierArrayType.java
    StringArrayType.java
    Status.java
    Identifier.java
    IConcEngWS.java
    IConcEngWSBindingStub.java
    .
    Expected Results:
    .
*Locator.java and *Cpp.java files should be
generated as well as the files mentioned above.
    .

Comments

  • WSDL documents delivered on the media are not
supposed to include the service tag element
required by some SOAP toolkits. To comply with
WS-I Basic Profile requirements, the service tag
element must contain information specific to the
client environment configuration which cannot be
known prior to the deployment of the CAA Web
services infrastructure on a given target
    application server.
Nevertheless, a dedicated servlet is available for
generating automatically WSDL documents with the
required service tag element. It relies on CAA Web
services that are deployed on the target
application server from which the servlet is run.
    .
Invoke the wsdl servlet with the proper parameters
(see documentation below) to request a WSDL
"implementation" document containing a service tag
element for one of the WSDL "interface" documents
shipped on the media and deployed on a given
    application server.
