  • PART: BOOLEAN - UPDATE ERROR OCCURS WITH
BOOLEAN OPERATION.

SCENARIO:
0. Start CATIA.
1. Open the file: "22031e.CATPart".
Workbench: "Part Design".
2. Select "Body.4" with context menu "Body.4
object"/ "Remove". Remove dialog is displayed.
3. Select "Body.3_OK".
4. Click "OK".
5. Warning message is displayed: Non manifold
edges have been created during boolean operation.
Non manifold edges may reveal unprecise contact
between bodies. Check bodies design.
6. However there is no Non-manifold edge that can
be seen in the geometry. So Warning message
needs to be modified to help user better
understand the situation and not confuse the user.

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
5 RELEASE 19 GA level.
NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
ON V5R18SP01 AND ON V5R17SP07.

There are two volumes tangents.
