Error description
STCAI : Error message when performing a check in on an assembly drawing, its children and their related drawings . CATIA Smarteam integration problem reproduced on Smdemo . Scenario : An assembly is composed of 2 parts. Each of these 3 files has a drawing. 1. Open the provided Assembly drawing and the 2 Part drawings. 2. Save in Smarteam the assembly drawing. Save in Smarteam the 2 part drawings. 3. In the assembly drawing, do a smarteam/check in. In the 'check in window', use 'Associated objects/CATIA links/All' in order to display the assembly, the 2 parts and their 2 drawings. Click the icons on the left (for the 6 files) in order to check in the 6 files in one operation. Click OK. 4. In smarteam editor, on the assembly drawing, do a 'open for edit'. Use 'Associated objects/CATIA links/All' in order to check out the 6 files in one operation. Click OK. 5. The assembly drawing is now opened in CATIA. In Smarteam editor, do a 'open' on each of the 2 part drawings. The 3 drawings are now opened in CATIA. 6. Make a change to each of those 3 drawings. Check them in Smarteam in one operation (like in step 3). Problem : error message is displayed : 'Critical situation...documents are not in compliance with documents in the disk' .

Problem conclusion
THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 19 GA level. NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R18SP02 AND ON V5R17SP07. Incident Diagnosis Part drawings were skipped for saving since they are not in the direct hierarchy of the Assembly drawing Correction Explanation The issue has been fixed. Those Part drawings are now saved. However, the Save time during CheckIn is increased since these extra saves are added. Note : It's still better to Save the part drawings explicitely before CheckIn the assembly if we want to Check In them along with the assembly drawing. .
