HD65165: DUPLICATE INSTANCES INSERTED UNDER COMPONENT ASSEMBLY

Error description

• Duplicate Instances inserted under component
  assembly
  Scenario--
  1.Create a new Product in LCA
  2.Open the Product in Product editor
  3.From product editor, insert instance of new Part1
  type:assembly, ControlledBy:Enovia
  4.Lock Part1
  5.Send Part1 to Catia V5
  6.In Catia, create new Part2 and Part3 under the
  Part1
  7.Save to Enovia
  8.Close the Catia geometry window
  9.Promote the part doc, ref and instance to
  approved of Part2, Part3, Part1
  10.Save
  11.Select Part2 and send to Part Editor.
  12.Create a New Version of Part2
  13.Send the new Version of Part2 from part editor
  to CATIA
  14.From the Product Editor, send Part1 to CATIA as
  Assembly
  15.In CATIA, select Part1
  16.Copy + Paste Part1 under the Product (there
  should now be two instances of Part1)
  17.Switch over to the window containing the new
  version, select it and copy
  18.Switch back to the previous window
  19.Select the instance of Part2 under the new
  instance of Part1
  20.Right click + Components + Replace in Session
  21.Select Part2
  22.Select OK, OK
  23.Save Back to Enovia
  Result: Incident Report Panel displayed with this
  message:
  Operation not authorized! Object  Part2.1 has
  reached a final status.
  24.In Product editor, do refresh.
  Expected Result: only one instance of Part2 exists
  under Part1
  Result: Two instances of Part2 exist under Part1.
  25. Do the synchronization of data. Now, it shows
  the two instances of the same new versioned
  part2.
