HD64907: THE FILE PATH OF A CATPART SAVED IN A RELATIVE FOLDER USING CATDOCUMENTSERVICES::SAVEAS IS NOT KEPT

Error description

  • Reproducibility
    Reproducibility is different according to the setting
    of
    "Linked Document Localization"
    It reproduces it when "Folder of pointing
    doucument" is top priority.

    .
    Scenario
    1. Open "AAA.CATProduct".
    2. "Desk" of CATIA is executed.
    Load is executed for BBB and CCC.
    3. Select "File/Savemanagement"
    and save all documents to "C:\tmp\Samlpe".
    4. Close "AAA.CATPart".
    5. Open "C:\tmp\Samlpe\AAA.CATPart".
    6. PMR_SaveAs2.CATScript is executed.
    The macro save AAA.CATPart in
    a "C:\tmp\Sample" Folder.
    It is necessay to change "Folder of pointing
    doucument" (PMR 73518)
    7. The macro save BBB.CATPart in
    a "C:\tmp\AnotherFolder" Folder.
    At this time, the state of of CATPart is changed
    WM_VISUALIZATION
    to WM_DESIGN.
    8. The macro liberates the memory by changing
    the state of
    CATPart to WM_VISUALIZATION.
    9. CATProduct is linked with the file before it
    preserves it according
    to the option setting.
    10. The macro save CCC.CATPart in
    a "C:\tmp\Sample" path.
    11. The macro save AAA.CATProduct in
    a "C:\tmp\Sample" path again.
    (It is necessary to update child path.)
    This message is displayed, processing finihed.
    12. Close AAA.CATProduct.
    13. Delete "c:\tmp\BBB.CATPart", because it is
    saved in a new folder.
    14. Open AAA.CATProduct
    AAA.CATProduct has broken
    link. "C:\tmp\AnotherFolder" is not found.
    If nearest document is not found, relative folder is
    checked from
    "Linked Document Localization"
    However, relative folder is not checked in R17.
