  EXPORT CANNOT BE USED.
  .
  SCENARIO:
  1. Start catia V5R17SP2.
  2. Open "TEST.CATProduct"
  2. Export Section.1 as CATPart (select Section.1 +
  MB3)
  3. then Open this CATPart in V5.
  4. Go to GSD workshop
  5. Try to extrude curve.1
  6. It does not work
  7. you will get an Update error message:Extrusion
  operator:a selected contour is self intersecting
  this configuration cannot be used in a extrusion
  operator
  choose a wire that is not self intersecting
  8. Same trouble with curve.2
  9. Same trouble when inserting a plane through
  planar curve(select Profile)
  10."Error Message:The selected element is a non
  connex element
  Input element Curve.1 has to be connex".
  11.These curves, resulting from a Section export
  cannot be used(extruded) in GSD.This is problem.

  MODIFICATION:
  The SPA program directories have been updated
  accordingly on teh R17 SP7 level.
  The following limitation has been added under
  General issues:
  Exporting Section Results. The exported section
  curves can be used neither in Extrude nor in
  Parallel Curve operations.
