  SCENARIO:
  1) Start CATIA.
  2) Open V503462.CATProduct.
  3) Click Normal view icon.
  4) Select Pink plane.
  .
  OBSERVATION:
  View does not become perpendicular to the
  selected Pink plane.

  Incident Diagnosis:
  In view mode there is no real geometric
  information on visualized element but just graphic
  representation. So the command can not get the
  normal of selected plane because this last is
  composed by 4 segments.
  .
  Restriction Explanation:
  The goal of view mode is to reduce the information
  volum to load. Here we try to load as few data as
  possible for the reason of performance. Thus, only
  the data necessary for visualization the elements
  are loaded. The other geometry and technological
  data are not loaded.
  So in "View mode" we can see the elements but we
  cannot do the geometry operation.
  .
  In our case, the xyz planes are visualized with 4
  lines, so there are only data about lines in
  memory. When you select a plane in "normal view"
  command you will actually select one of these
  lines. Therefore, the viewpoint will follows the
  direction of this line.
  .
  By-Pass:
  Change to edit mode or select a surfacic element
  for Normal view (e.g. a face of cube).
  .
