• ABSTRACT-
  The position of all view moved if macro is
  preformed after   separation 'Front View' when
  new drawing files created.
  .
  SCENARIO-
  1) Start CATIA V5R17SP3HOTFIX1.
  2) Open the file : '3D_R15SP3.CATPart '
  3)Select Start - Mechanical Design-Drafting by the
  menu bar.
  -'New Drawing Creation' windows is displayed.
  4)Click on the 'OK' button .
  -The new views was created.
  5)Create new views of 'Offset Section View'.
  5-1) Select Insert -Views - Sections -
  - Offset Section View by the menu bar.
  - The coordinates scale is displayed in the tip of the
  cursor of a mouse.
  5-2) Click the point of the first which wants to
  create a section.
  5-3) Click the point of the last which wants to
  create a section.
  - The line of a section is displayed.
  5-4) Double-click in geometrical area.
  - The line of a section finished being created.
  5-5) Click the geometrical area which arranges a
  drawing.
  -The Selection view A-A is created.
  6) Create the sectional view of Aligned Section
  view,
  - Offset Section Cut , and Aligned Section Cut
  by the same operation as Step 5.
  7)Click on the 'Front View' on the tree by Click MB3
  -Contextual menu is opened.
  8)Select the -Front view object - Isolate  by
  contextual menu.
  - The  drawing  separates.
  9)Select Tools - Macro - Macros... by menu bar.
  10)Select a macro files windows is displayed.
  1.File type - MS VBA File (*. Catvba)
  2.File Name -DrawViewGenlinks.Catvba
  12)Click the Run command.
  Drawing GenerativeLink Editor windows is
  displayed.
  13)Select Window  - 3D_R15SP3CATPart by the
  menu bar.
  - 3D_R15SP3CATPart  file is active .
  14)Select AAA in the tree.
  15)Click ADD command .
  -  AAA is displayed on a link view.
  16)Click Close command.
  17)Select Window  -  Drawing1 by the menu bar.
  - Drawing1 file is active.
  18)Click Update icon .
  -  The position of all view change.
  .
  PROBLEM
  -  The position of all view change.
  .
  EXPECTED RESULT -
  The All view should be the original position
  even if it performs the macro.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 18 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R17SP04.

  ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  1.It is necessary  that the 'Part 3D axis' option has
  to be checked in the sheet properties.
  This option is mandatory if you want to get a
  correct result.
