Error description

• FAILED TO PROMOTE/DEMOTE SEVERAL PARTS IN
  ONE OPERATION.
  SCENARIO:
  - Start VPM through 3DCOM.
  - Select about 15 Parts with several maturities and
  note the
  value for each Part.
  - Change Maturity / Promote (or Demote)
  RESULT:
  15 Message windows are opened asking for the
  values to promote/demote the part, among these
  2 values have been promoted twice.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON ENOVIA
  VERSION 1 RELEASE 6 PTF04 level.
  Incident Diagnosis
  On 3Dcom if several instances of the same
  part are selected for promotion(demotion),
  those parts are promoted(demoted)
  several times ...
  Correction Explanation
  The part is now promoted(demoted), only
  once.So if you have multiple Instance of a
  part, then there will be multiple windows
  opening asking for the maturity levels to be
  changed.So if you have
  multiple instances then you have the option
  of changing there maturity independently.
  Answer and By-Pass
  make a mass promote (demote) with
  unique
  instance of the same part.
