  SCENARIO:
  1. Launch CATIA.
  2. File + Open M87936000-03.CATDrawing.
  3. File + Save As
  4. Select CGM format and click OK.
  5. Result: the CGM file size is equal to 28Mb
  instead of 400Kb in R14SP4. This is the problem.
  6. Note that CATDrawing size is equal to 1.9Mb.

  Incident Diagnosis:
  The save in CGM of CATDrawing containing RGB
  bitmap creates large CGM file. The CATDrawing
  saves the bitmaps as PNG. So the bitmaps are
  compressed in the drafting. In CGM the bitmaps
  are saved uncompressed. Hence we have this huge
  size difference.

  Development Request Justification:
  In order to save bitmaps as compressed inside
  CGM file a new development should be done. This
  development can be done only on new release.

  2. select .jpg as format
  3. Save. The size is acceptable and as expected by
  the user.
