Scenario : 1. Start CATIA 2. Open the provided CATPart 3. Double click chamfer.2 In chamfer definition set length to 0,499mm. the result is correct 4. Change now chamfer length to 0,5mm. ==> the Result is incorrect. Same with 0,51 mm . .

Incident Diagnosis : Chamfer result is incorrect because definition values leads to a non supported configuration. Indeed, if length is above 0.5, the four chamfer ribbons are selfintersecting which each other, which is a current limitation. . Development Request Justification : Pyramidal configurations are not supported by the chamfer operator. . Answer and By-Pass Chamfer cannot be used to design pyramids. Please directly ask Part Design team to get information about features to use in such a purpose. . .
