Error description

  • ABSTRACT:
3DCOM: IMPOSSIBLE TO LOAD A CATPART INTO
    CATIA V5 FROM 3DCOM
    .
    Scenario:
    .
Before runing the scenario, you have to define the
    "CV5_LaunchingCommand" variable. This variable
    defines the command
used to start Catia from 3DCOM.
    .
To do that, add the two following lines in the
    download_13.properties
    file located
    in .../solaris_a/docs/webstarter/solaris_a directory:
    .
    CV5_LaunchingCommand=/home/de/a032590/script_
    ct53d
(adapt this line to your configuration).
    .
    export CV5_LaunchingCommand
    .
script_ct53d is a script containing the command
    line to start Catia V5.
In our case in renault, we have the following
    command:
    /logiciel/ct5integ/conf/conf_s8/bin/startv5 -config
    cfg_3dcom -env 3DCOM
    .
    Now, start 3DCOM
    .
1- Do a query in order to search for a VPM Part
    containing a V5 CATPart.
    .
    Add it to a Workbook.
    .
2- Expand the Part. From the Contextual menu of
    its CATPart,
    select the function "Catia V5/Load".
    .
Result: We get the following message:
    "Problem while starting Catia V5".
    The BAckBone process starts; Catia V5 starts also;
BUT, the CATPart is not loaded.
    .
If we select the function "Catia V5/Load" a second
    time, the CATPart
    is loaded this time.
    .
