• Abstract: INTEROP VPM / CATIA V5 DRAWING
  ALWAYS ASKS FOR UPDATE WHEN OPENED FROM
  VPM TO CATIA V5
  Description:
  1) Creat a simple CATProduct with two CATParts in
  it in CATIA V5.
  2) Creat a CATDrawing of this CATProduct with 'all
  view'.
  3) select drawing , edit links , pointed documents ,
  select CATProduct , replace , file , loaded
  documents , select CATProduct, click ok
  4) Go to CATProduct, SET PDM Property,
  CATProduct, VPM1, Structure Exposed, OK.
  5) Again go to drawing , edit links , pointed
  documents , select CATProduct , replace , file ,
  loaded documents , select CATProduct Doc, click ok
  6) Save the Drawing with SET PDM Property,
  CATDrawing, VPM1, Publication Exposed, OK.
  7) Close all the file in CatiaV5.
  8) Create a structure in VPM PSN.

  9) Expand the complete structure and open it in
  CATIA V5 R14
  Sp7 HF2
  10) select drawing , edit links , pointed documents ,

  11) update drawing and save it back in vpm.
  12) close all CATIA files
  13 ) select the Root in VPM and opened the drawing
  and Product in Catia V5
  .
  In CATIA drawing asking for update .

  even if you update it and save it back , open it
  again , it again asks for update.
