Error description

  • GSMD: CACHE MODE / NO EDITOR ASSOCIATED
    WHEN OPENING IN NEW WINDOW.
    .
    SCENARIO:
    1. Start CATIA.
    2. Tools/Options/Infrastructure/Product
    Structure/Cache Management - be sure you have
    the cache activated. [if needed restart the
    application]
    3. Open Product1.CATProduct.
    4. Preselect the Product1 in 3D area and click MB3
    for the contextual menu.
    5. Select/object/Open in New Window. The
    message of the window Open is appearing: "No
    editor associated". This is the problem.
    6. Click OK.
    7. Move cursor in spec tree and click MB3 for the
    contextual menu.
    8. Select/object/Open in New Window. The new
    window of the CATPart is opened. This is correct
    behavior.

    CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 16.
    THIS PROBLEM IS NOT REPRODUCIBLE ON :
    CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 17 GA.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Open in new window (even from 3D
    geometry) opens the CATPart in new
    session without any errors. The problem is
    also not reproducible on V5 R16SP05.
