  1. Start CATIA
  2. Set the following License
  XM2+C12+GPS+GAS+KIN
  3. Start Part design workbench and create a pad
  and apply material.
  4. Go to GSA workbench.
  5. look at the distributed mass icon
  .
  OBSERVATION:
  The distributed mass icon is greyed out.
  .
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  The distributed mass icon should be available as in
  R15GA.
  .

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 17 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R16SP04.

  Incident Diagnosis
  The mass creation commands were not available
  with GPS configuration because they newly need the
  explicit pre creation of the mass set which is a
  new command licensed EST.
  .
  Correction Explanation
  The mass set creation command is now licensed
  GPS.
  .
  Answer and By-Pass
  No by-pass before correction.
  No limitation with the correction.
