    DESCRIPTION:
    Abstract :Copy and paste an instance using double
    arrows did not copy the
    instances from the design action to the release
    action.
    1.Using Customer Customized objects,
    2.Create configured product
    3.Create new Design Action
    4.Open product with action
    5.Send to Catia V5, create new part and save to
    Enovia.
    6.Promote part objects to approved
    7.Promote Design action to Completed
    8.In Actions editor, select Design Action + RMB +
    Copy
    9.Select the root node in the action Editor + RMB +
    Paste
    10.In the action window, select Type: Release
    Action Key in valid value for Release Action ID
    11.Click OK
    12.In the Action Item Copy Selector panel, expand
    the affected objects folder on the left pane.
    13.Select the CACPrdt/Part Instance folder
    14.Select double arrow
    15.Select OK
    16. Review the release action.
    17. Only the Part Version is pasted. There's no Part
    Instance.

    Work Around:
    Select the Affected Object folderand click the
    double arrows, the instance and reference are
    pasted to the Release Action.
    .
    

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON ENOVIA
    VERSION 5 RELEASE 17 GA level.

    Incident Diagnosis
    In the copy selector only the objects which
    are
    there in AffObjType are allowed to be
    copied.
    SinceProduct/part Instance is not allowed in
    the
    properties file, we are not able to copy it.A
    definitive check was not provided.
