  SCENARIO:
  0) Start CATIA V5R15SP3
  1) Open the attached file : Workbench : 'GSD'.
  2) Click 'Extract' icon.
  =>'Extract Definition' dialog box is displayed.
  =>'Tool Palette' dialog box is displayed.
  3) Click 'Bag' button.
  =>'Element(s) to extract' dialog box is displayed.
  4) Click 'Selection Trap' in the 'Tool Palette' dialog
  box.
  5) Trap the all surface on the geometry area.
  =>'Error Detected' window is displayed.
  'Error Detected' message.
  Selection failed.
  In creation mode select a connex element in the
  geometry.
  Please select another one.
  =>The trap is not performed. >>>This is problem.

  The 'Selection Trap' in the 'Tool Palette' is not
  performed at the 'Bag' of 'Extract'. >>>This is

  The 'Selection Trap' in the 'Tool Palette' should be

  Or, 'Tool Palette' dialog box should not be
  displayed if it cannot be used.
  Or the error message must be clear enough to give
  a valid reason as to why the selection is failing, the
  currect error message does not inform the user
  about the warning.

  Correction Explanation
  New error message has been introduced which
  gives the user a more clearer instruction.
  The Selection has failed
  You can select a Sub element in the geometry or a
  solid/ volume in the specification tree.
  Please select another element.
  .
  Answer and By-Pass
  Select in the geometry.
  ==============================
  Extract feature allows to separate sub-elements
  as edges, faces or vertices.
  As you can read in "Selecting Using Selection Traps"
  documentation, selection traps do not allow you to
  select sub-elements (e.g. edges, faces, vertices
  and so on).
  In Extract command, when you use Selection Traps
  only elements as Volume (GSD features) or as Pad
  (Part Design features), which can also selected
  in the graph, are kept.
