Error description

• Scenario:
  1- File / Open the file : "Flat / Flat.CATProduct".
  Workbench : "Electrical Harness Flattening"
  2- Please confirm that there are not red x marks
  in "Flexible Curve.1" of "MMB_Ehf".
  3- Click "Straighten" icon.
  4- Click "Bundle Segment.1" on the geometry area.
  5- Click "Face" on the geometry area.
  Problem:
  in "Flexible Curve.1" of "MMB_Ehf", the red X mark
  is displayed on "Flexible Curve.1".
  Expected Result :
  When "Straighten" is performed, the red X mark
  should not be displayed on "Flexible Curve".

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 17 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R16SP02.
  Incident Diagnosis
  When straight was performed on an intermediate
  point of the Bundle segment, then the build of the
  flexible curve was broken. This scenario was
  reproducible.
  Correction Explanation
  The problem in the build of flexible curve was
  coming because of the incorrect tangent directions
  at the points of the spline. This has been corrected
  now.
  Answer and By-Pass
  Now the scenario works fine and there is no Red
  cross on the curve after straight.
  This problem has been corrected on V5R16 SP2
  and V5R17ga.
