Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON ENOVIA
  VERSION 5 RELEASE 16 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R15SP01.

  1) Load PART_1010 and PART_1020 in CATIAV5
  2) Save as Nomad session and close the CATIA
  session.
  3) Open a file based Catia session. (Not connected
  to ENOVIA)
  4) Open the Nomad session saved in Step.2.
  5) Add PART_1030 to ASSY_1000
  using "Components + New Part"
  6) Open the save management panel
  7) Select the PRC in the list and click save. ASSY is
  automatically set to "Save auto"
  Message from CATIA: "File ENOVIA5
  \PART_1030.CATPart. The directory ENOVIA5 does
  not exist or it cannot be accessed."
  8) Click ok for this message
  9) Don't set PART_1030 as to be "save as"
  10) Click OK in the save management panel
  Message from CATIA: "Following document(s) will
  not be saved:
  \PART_1030.CATPart. WARNING: Saving may lead
  to inconsistencies in pointing documents that will be
  saved. Do you want to proceed?"
  11) Click OK to proceed with the save.
  12) Close the mobile session and close CATIA.
  13) Start CATIA and ENOVIA.
  14) Open the mobile session in CATIA V5
  15) Switch to PDM (ENOVIA)
  16) Save in ENOVIA (use the save data in ENOVIA
  LCA server button)
  17) Save is done in CATIA without any error
  message
  18) Do a refresh from database in ENOVIA

  The PART_1030 is added to the ENOVIA Product
  Structure.
  PROBLEM NO. 1: Wrong error message in Step 10.

  WARNING: Saving may lead to inconsistencies in
  pointing documents that will be saved. Do you want
  to proceed?"

  This warning message cannot be changed because
  of critical software dependency issues.
  This is a permanent restriction.

  Problem no.2
  After getting confused from the error message in
  Step 10
  The user completes step 11 and then again
  Opens File save management window and makes a
  save as to the new Part.
  And then continues with Step 12 to step 18.

  This problem is fixed and the new part will be
  added to the product structure.

  Problem no. 3
  After step .6 if you directly make a save as for the
  new part PART_1030,
  Part won t be saved in LCA. This ia a permanent
  restriction.

  Explanation:
  You are working in a nomad session, in a such a
  case the user has to know that a single File/Save
  command from the nomad session is automaically
  saving all its data as NOMAD. So using save
  management is not necessary.
  The user explicitly ask for a save as, so in hat case
  document involved in the save as transaction are
  now file base and no more nomad. So on file all the
  document are well saved but not inside the nomad
  session. This is the reason why the user don't
  retrieve its data (in fact they are on file). Consider
  the Nomad repository as a PDM.
