HD32511: TO CREATE A CATPART FROM CATGEOMETRY'S AND THEN SAVE THE CATPAR T BY SAVEAS(), IT TAKES 20 TO 40 TIMES LONGER IN R14 COMPARED

APAR status

Error description

• To create a CATPart from CATGeometry's and then
  save the CATPart by SaveAs(),  it takes 20 to 40
  times longer in R14 compared to R13.
  SCENARIO :
  1- Compile the Workspace and run it under R14
  2- Open the mdl_01.CATPart given
  3- Go in the Surface Machining workbench
  4- Create a toolpath such as sweeping
  5- Right click on the sweeping and launch Compute
  tool path
  6- Right click on the sweeping and Lock it
  6- Right click on Tool Path and choose Creation of
  a CATPart file
  7- Click on Save
  With this click on the Save button, the CATPart will
  be created and saved with the path/name specified
  in the panel. A progress bar will appear during the
  process. There are 2 phases in the process:
  -  Step1 is doing the construction of the CATPart
  from CATGeometry's;
  - Step2 is only the CATDocumentServices:::SaveAs
  () method. After the saving process, a report panel
  will apear to display the time cost.
  The Step 2 takes 20 to 40
  times longer in R14 compared to R13.

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 15 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R14SP04.
