Error description

  • SMARTEAM CATIA V5 INTEGRATION
    STCAI / SMARTEAM DISPLAY STATUS OF
    CHECKED IN CGR IS A CHECKED OUT ICON IN
    CATIA WHEN PRODUCT IS CHECKED OUT
    .
    Scenario :
    1. Open in CATIA XB132+POW+001#0.CATProduct.
    2. Select menu SmarTeam / Connect.
    3. Select menu SmarTeam / Save
    4. Select menu SmarTeam / LifeCycle /Check_In.
    5. Check_In panel was displayed and click OK.
    6. Select Checked_In object and select File
    Operation / Open For / Open Edit in context menu.
    7. Check_Out panel was displayed and change if
    necessary the check out mode to CopyFile on cgr
    files.
    8. Check_Out was complete and target files are
    loading to CATIA.
    === But check out SmarTeam status icons are
    displayed on CGRs in CATIA instead of Check In
    icons. This is our problem.
    .
    Expected result is : Keep Check_In status icon on
    cgr files.

  • In CATIA at last step of scenario, the Product
    Structure tree describes Internal components and
    not the cgr (for the data in the PMR). Internal
    component are part of the CATProduct so that
    Check-Out of the CATProduct means check-out of
    the internal component. It does not mean check-
    out of the cgr: they remain in check-in mode.
    This can be checked through File Desk or through
    Locate Active Document : for instance in File Desk,
    the cgrs have correctly the Checked In icon.
