Comments

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON ENOVIA
VERSION 5 RELEASE 15 GA level.
    .
Given an assembly of CATParts with publications in
Enovia and with Visu Mode, when switching from
Visu to Design Mode, the parent products are seen
    as modified.
    .
    Why?
Because publications are instanciated on instance
of CATParts, which lead to a modification of
product. The instanciation is normal and is
observed also at open directly in Design Mode, but
in this case it has no impact on modified status.
    .
This cannot be corrected easily, because this is a
data model issue. A development (Virtual Instance)
is planned in R15 to avoid this type of problem.
    .
In R13, this doesn't block the save. No correction
can be offered on this level.
    .
On R14, a by-pass should be available with
Selective Loading project: The part could be
opened in ProdMode, which solves the problem of
    instanciation of publication.
    .
In resume: the described problem should be
    corrected completely in R15, have a by-pass in R14
and seems to be not blocking in R13.
    .
