    SEND TO CATIA WHEN SENDING PART, OLD
    DOCUMENT REVISION IS SENT
    ABSTRACT: New document revision is not send to
    CATIA when sending
    Part, old document revision is sent.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
    If you revise a document from --- to --A that is
    attached to a Part
    version --- the document revision --- will be sent to
    CATIA even though
    --- A is the only attached document revesion.
    Send to CATIA as Assembly will not work!!!
    .
    Step by step scenario:
    1. Create a PRC
    2. Open the PRC in Product Editor
    3. Send the PRC to CATIAv5
    4. Insert a new Part to the PRC and create a simple
    geomerty
    5. Save to ENOVIA LCA and close the work in
    CATIA
    6. Make a refresh in Product Editor
    7. Unlock the Document
    8. Select the Part and click on the Documents tab
    9. Expand primary, right click the Document and
    select change status
    10. Promote the document twice
    11. Right click the Document and select new
    revision
    12. Perform a local refresh in Product Editor
    13. Select the document --A in Instance view and
    lock it
    14. Right click the document --A in Instance view
    and send it to CATIA
    15. Make a change to the geomerty and save to
    ENOVIA LCA, close the
    work in CATIA
    16. Save (unlock all) in ENOVIA Product Editor
    17. Right click the Part --- in Instance view and
    send it to CATIA
    18. Problem: Document revision --- is opened in
    CATIA, the change made
    in step 15 cannot be seen
    19. Return to ENOVIA Product Editor, right click the
    PRC and select
    Send to CATIA as Assembly
    .
    20. Problem: Document revision --- is opened in
    CATIA, the change made in step 15 cannot be seen

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON ENOVIA
    VERSION 5 RELEASE 14 GA level.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
    ON V5R13SP06.
