HD18148: IDF FILE NOT IMPORTED (NOTHING IS CREATED)

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IDF file not imported (Nothing is created)
  Scenario:
  Just try to open the provided IDF file.
  1) Select File> Open
  2) Select file 'pearl.bdf'
  3) Select file 'pearl.ldf' for the library
  4) Select 'Draw only' for Holes Option
  5) Press OK.
  An empty product is created and not report is
  returned to inform the
  user what is wrong. We would like to know If the
  IDF has invalid
  entities. The IDF file looks file fine if you browse it
  with Notepad.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 14 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R13SP02 AND V5R12SP06.
