  • Using open profile in shaft command (Part Design
Workbench)
Scenario:
1. File - open - "Open Profile Problem. CATPart
2. "Define In Work Object" PartBody  (MB3)
3. Sel. the Icon "Shaft"
4. Sel. Scetch.2 for the Profile/Surface Selection
>> A Feature Definition Error occures <<
5. Sel. OK Button
>> Udate Error: The selected sketch has to be
closed by the axis
6. Sel. OK in the Error message window
7. Sel. Cancel in the Shaft Definition window  (2
times)
8. "Define In Work Object" for Body.2 (MB3)
9. Repeat Step3 from the Scenario Now its possible
to create a Shaft.
