HD14278: SPLIT COMMAND IS UNAVAILABLE TO BE PERFORMED SUCCESSIVELY

Error description

• Scenario:
  1. Open the CATPart file in the GSD workbench.
  2. Double-click Split icon.
  * This is a key-point of this problem. Don't do
  a 'single click'.
  Split Definition dialog box appears.
  3. Select Fill.1 as the element to be cut.
  Split Definition dialog box appears.
  4. Right-click in the Cutting elements window.
  Contextual menu is displayed.
  5. Choose Create Join command from the
  contextual menu.
  Join definition dialog box is displayed.
  6. Click Cancel to close the Join definition dialog
  box.
  Return to Split definition dialog box.
  7. Select Spline.1 as the cutting element.
  8. Click OK to perform the split operation.
  Split Definition dialog box has disappeared.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 14 GA level.
  Incident Diagnosis:
  If a command in shared mode is cancelled, the
  main command does not repeat even if it was
  started in repeat mode (double click).
  Correction Explanation :
  On cancel, repeat mode was unset even for shared
  mode commands. Problem fixed.
