  • Scenario:

    1. Open any CATPart (the sent CATPart for
    instance)
    2. Save as STEP File
    3. Search for UNCERTAINTY_MEASURE_WITH_UNIT
    (LENGTH_MEASURE(0.005) in the edited step file.
    == The value of the accuracy is always 0.005mm
    (in both formats
    203 and 214) and not the default accuracy of
    CATIA 0.001mm.
    .
    User has no influence to limit or change this value.
    It is possible at Import.

    UNCERTAINTY is not a user-defined value and shouldn't be modifi
    ed by the user.

    For the moment, this value is fixed to 0.005mm.

    In a future release, this value will be calculated to reflect t
    he accuracy of the model.
    This development is nevertheless not scheduled for now.
