  1. File / Open sent CATDrawing
  
  2. Create Isometric view (also sent)
  3. Go to view properties
  4. Set the 3D points and 3D geometry to be shown
  
  5. Select True lenght dimensioning
  6. Select point and any geometry

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 14 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R13SP02.
  Incident Diagnosis
  Dimensioning using 3D Wireframe was impossible
  in Isometric view (TrueDim dimension)
  Correction Explanation
  We allowed the following dimensions:
  -3D point to line (even wireframe), to circle, to
  ellipse (in those two cases, you get the dimension
  along the direction normal to the plane that support
  the circle/ellipse).
  -3D line to edges, points...
  Answer and By-Pass
  This problem has been corrected on V5R13 SP2
  and V5R14ga.
  The dimension of value 367.03 (from edge of the
  ellipse) or 353.95 (from center of the ellipse) can
  be created in the isometric view.
  In the case of dimension between a point and a
  circle or an ellipse, if you want to get the dimension
  to the center of this circle/ellipse, you've got to
  create the corresponding 3D point in your part.
