DETAILED DESCRIPTION: 1. File+Open. Open the provided CATProduct with CATParts 2. Select the Swap Visible Space icon to go to no- show and select Fit All In. 3. MB2 on the geometry to center the visualization cube. 4. Attempt to Zoom in on the geometry. Result: Geometry does not zoom appreciably and instead moves around the display. 5. Try View+Zoom Area to zoom in on a small portion of the geometry. Repeat several times. Result: Geometry remains zoomed out and cannot be visualized. 6. Try selecting elements to bring out of no-show. Result: Elements are not brought out. 7. Select the Swap Visible Space icon to return to the primary workspace. 8. Try rotating and zooming then select the Fit All In icon. 9. Select the Swap Visible Space icon to return to no-show and do a Fit ALL In. 10. MB2 to center visualization cube. 11. Swap back and forth between the master workspace and the no-show environment. While in the no-show window, do a combination of MB2 to center, zooming, rotating, selecting elements and MB2 again. Result: Soon the display cube or display origin becomes corrupted and results in the geometry disappearing at least in the no-show environment. Eventually in master also. Fit All In results in no geometry displayed or the geometry bounces around the screen and then disappears. . Expected results: All geometry will zoom and reframe correctly in both the primary and no-show windows. No corruption shall occur as described in step 11. Also, elements selected in the no-show environment will be brought out of no-show successfully. .

THIS APAR IS CONSIDERED AS A SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT WHICH CANNOT BE INCORPORATED IN VERSION V5R14. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR SUPPORT DEPARTMENT IN ORDER TO OPEN A REQUIREMENT FORM . INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS . VISUALIZATION : VISUALIZATION DISPLAY CUBE OR ORIGIN CORRUPTION WHEN SWAPPING VISIBLE SPACE. IN THIS INCIDENT, 3 SKETCHES ARE INVALID DUE TO COORDINATES OF THEIR ORIGIN TOO FAR FROM THE ABSOLUTE ORIGIN (THEIR COEFFICIENT ARE LARGER THAN 1e16 mm),AND THIS CAUSES THE VISUALIZATION DISPLAY PROBLEM . DEVELOPMENT REQUEST JUSTIFICATION . THE SUG CLOSURE CORRESPOND TO A DEVELOPMENT NEEDED TO AVOID CREATION OF INVALID SKETCHES WITH TOO LARGE GEOMETRIES (EITHER TOO LARGE ORIGIN OR TOO LARGE GEOMETRIES ON IT). THIS DEVELOPMENT IMPLIES CONCERTATION IN DIFFERENT COMPONENTS OF CATIA (INCLUDING SKETCHER APPLICATION AND GEOMETRIC MODELER) TO ENSURE THAT INFINITE GEOMETRIES IN CATIA IS HANDLED IN THE SAME WAYIN DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS . ANSWER AND BY-PASS . SINCE WE DO NOT KNOW THE WAY THESE INVALID SKETCHES HAVE BEEN CONSTRUCTED,ONE SHOULD RECONSTRUCT THEM PROPERLY, WHICH REPAIR THE PROBLEM. THE INVALID SKTECHES ARE LOCATED AS SKTECH.70, SKETCH.89, SKETCH.91 IN THE PART 20XX_B- 4_PACKAGE_REV__14MAR203_ACM_xSET29.CATPa rt. .
