Error description

  • Please Investigate this problem.
    This is Customer original function problem
     So please apply magic-word before you replay this
    scenario.
     This problem occurs by the environment of 'Shape
    body'. This is the regression problem of CATIA
    V5R10
    When 'Scan' is performed, the feature(Slit', Join',
    Trim' etc.) does not become Highlight by the
    geometry area.
    The parent element of the feature becomes
    Highlight by the geometry area.
    Scenario :
    ------------
    0) Start CATIA V5R11preSP2.
    Workbench:SHAPDSGN
    => Please activate the following options
     ' Tools / Options / Display / Navigation Tab /
    Selection / Highlight faces and edges '
    1) Open the file : 'xxx3151.CATPart'.
    2) Click the 'Scan or Define In Work Object' icon.
    => 'Scan' window is displayed
    3) Move the cursor to 'Split.1' icon on the tree
    => 'Split.1' is Highlight by the geometry
    area
    4) Move the cursor to 'Split2'icon on the tree.
    => 'Split.2' is Highlight in the geometry area.
    5) Move the cursor to the blue color surface
    ('Split.1') on the geometry area.
    => 'Fill.1' is Highlight in the tree.
       'Split.1' does not become Highlight
    6) Move the cursor to the green color surface
    ('Split.2') on the geometry area.
    => 'Offset.1' is Highlight in the tree.
      'Split.2' does not become Highlight.
     => When 'Scan' is performed, the Split feature
    does not become Highlight in the geometry area.
    >>>     This is problem.
    .

    <Result>

    When 'Scan' is performed, 'Split' does not become
    Highlight.
    The parent element (Fill.1 , Offset.1) become
    Highlight by the geometry area.
    <Result to expected>
    When the cursor is moved to the blue surface
    ('Split.1'),
    'Split.1' should be Highlight

    MODIFICATION:
    When clicking a sub-element in the 3D geometry, it
    is in fact the feature used to generate this sub-
    element which is selected as the in work object.
    Likewise, this feature is edited when double-clicking
    a sub-element.
