  • 0) Start CATIA V5R11SP2.
1) Open the file : 'CUST3448.CATAnalysis'.
Workbench : 'Generative Structural Analysis'
2) Click 'Compute' icon.
=>'Compute' dialog box is displayed.
3) Sel 'All'.
4) Click 'OK'.
=>'Compute Resources Estimation' dialog box is
displayed.
5) Click 'Yes'.
(After the computation.)
6) Click 'Principal Stress' icon.
=>Tensor symbol is displayed.
7) Expand 'Static Case'.
8) Double-click 'Stress principal tensor symbol' on
the tree.
=>'Image Edition' dialog box is displayed.
9) Sel 'AVERAGE-ISO' as 'Type'.
10) Sel 'PRINCIPAL-VALUE' as 'Criteria'.
11) Click 'Filters' tab.
=>The default of 'For:' is 'Line Element'. >>>This
is problem.
12) Sel 'Volume Element' as 'For:'.
13) Click 'OK'.
14) Double-click 'Stress principal tensor symbol' on
the tree.
=>'Image Edition' dialog box is displayed.
15) Click 'Filters' tab.
=>The display of 'For:' has returned to 'Line
Element'.
>>>This is problem.
(The display of the geometry area is 'Volume
Element'.)
