Error description

  • Scenario:
With MD2 + DMN license
 Load a CATProduct
 Select DMU Navigator workshop
 Select Track and select a CATPart
 This fails with the following message:
 .
 License error
 You do not have the required license to use this object
 .
 The Track function can be used if a
 FIT - DMU FITTING SIMULATOR 2 Product
 license is granted.

Local fix

Problem summary


    

  •  Tracks come as a part of the DMU Fitting product.
 The DM2 configuration does not include DMU Fitting
 and for this reason Tracks cannot be created.

  •  THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN CATIA
