HC86858: DETAIL VIEW NOT UPDATED CORRESPONDINGLY AFTER INVERT PROFILE DIRECTION OF THE SECTION VIEW

APAR status

• Closed as user error.

Error description

• A detail view has been created on a section view.
  The section view profile direction is inverted so that the
  geometry of the section view is changed.
  Problem : the detail view is not updated correspondingly.
  Scenario:
  1. File / Open the CATDrawing file and the CATPart file
  The detail B is created on the section view A-A
  2. On the Front View, double click the section line A-A
  3. Click Invert Profile Direction
  4. exit
  Now the Section View A-A has been updated.
  But the Detail B does not update correspondingly.
  Detail B keeps the old look.

  Detail view is not updated correspondingly after Invert Profile
  
   CORRECT APPLICATION:
  The definition of a generated view is not linked with the
  defining view.
  The projection plane of a detailed view is not linked with the
  projection plane of the view where it was defined.
  In case of projection plane problem, the callout will be put
  in red.
