SHMAERO- SOLID REPRESENTATION OF FLANGE SHOWS JAGGED EDGE ON WALL/FLANGE TRANSITION Scenario 1. Open test model 2. Select FK SHM_AERO 3. Create a part that is 0.04 inches thick with a Min. Bend Radius of 0.09 in. 4. Select OK 5. Select *PLN1 for the Support Geometry (Material Direction should be in positive Z) 6. Select the curve and 3 lines in counter-clockwise direction 7. Select YES: closed contour defined 8. Select OK in Create Web window 9. Select Workmode Options from Actions on Part window 10. Set "Update part as" to Solid 11. Select OK 12. Select "Define a Flange" icon from Select or Create a Feature window 13. Select the curve 14. Key in 60 for the angle and hit enter 15. Set the "Edge of Part" to "From OML" and Length to 1.0 in. 16. Select "Flange sides..." button in Create Flange window 17. For Side 1: set Limit to "on folded part" select *PLN2 18. For Side 2: set Limit to "on folded part" select *PLN3 19. Select OK in Side Limit window 20. Select OK in Create Flange window 21. Zoom in on near corner of bend to see the jagged edge.
