Local fix

Problem summary

  • INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
Problem when trying to drive length parameter of a pattern by
    a formula.

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 8 GA level.
NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R7SP02.

     TECHNICAL EXPLANATION FOR THE CORRECTION:
Length parameter of a pattern cannot be driven by the user as it
    is the result of spacing*(instances-1).
    The delivered correction is :
Do not show anymore length parameters to the user.
It is no more possible to add a formula to a pattern length
parameter through formula panel (it was not through pattern
    panel).
    .
Edition of a pattern will remove it for existing patterns.
Comments will be added in documentation.

     ANSWER AND POSSIBLE BY-PASS:
Instead of length parameter, use spacing * (instances-1)
